What's up guys, hope you're all doing alright after this thanksgiving week and that everyone is ready to get back into the grind of things. Over here we didn't do anything for thanksgiving because it doesn't exist here but all good cause next year I'll be eating a full turkey by myself

Some cool highlights were
-two exchanges
-gave a talk and sunday school lesson w/ my comp
-two people came to church finally
-got to see messi score a goal on México
-and the most important, some members gave us long johns because it's been so cold here shout out to them honestly.

Also we got to put a baptismal date on a dude named cesar this last week!! We visit him every sunday and we honestly don't think about him too much, poor guy. But he has had a crazy conversion so far, we invited him to read 3 nefi 11 and to pray every day, and homie read and studided it 4 times and gave an incredible prayer to end our lesson. He started our lesson talking about how jesus talks about baptism in the chapter and that feels like it's something important he needs. All he's gotta do is come to church 3 times and boom listo.

Also two people went to church yesterday it was awesome. We've been inviting them for the past 2 weeks but they haven't come because it's to cold in the morning. But yesterday they got up and got all ready... and then the soster car broke down. They still made it just in time with the sister which is a miracle big time. it's just so crazy how satan is always trying to keep us from doing the right thing.

Dont have tons of time cause zone counsel is boutta start. We just got done with a carne asada and from playing soccer. All in all it was a very solid week. Transfers are next week so we'll see what happens lol.

Peace and love

hey hey what's up everyone, not much new has been happening but I thought I'd get the weekly out super quick.

This last week has been so so so cold. Usually it's hot in the day too here, but it's been sweater weather every day here. The mornings and the nights are so so so cold tho, especially because we're missing a Window in our bed room. And we don't have hot water anymore but thats okay it helps us get ready quicker in the morning hehe.

Other cool things were the district leader counsel and the interviews with president. The counsel was kinda just them telling us to be better examples and to be more confident with the assignment, it was super cool. The interviews were also super helpful, i got to learn how to help out our own area as well as the rest of the district. Always love getting advice cause i need all the help i can get haha.

My companion and I get along so great, Elder Mendoza is a beast. It has been so rewarding and fun to see the progress he makes every day, he makes the work very very exciting and fun. We've been working on being more direct with all our investigators and it's been working super great. We thought they'd get mad at us but they just accept it and keep progressing.

Big huge miracle of the week was that we found an inactive family with 2 youth that aren't baptized!! The family is SO so cool and they love us and haven't gone to church in a long time but are super interested to start learning about the church again. We've got a family home evening with them this Wednesday, keep them in your prayers!!

But ya i love you guys, spiritual thought for the week is matthew 4:18-22 (i think). In those verses it talks about when jesus invites his disciples to come follow him and become fishers of men. They then dropped everything that they were doing to go and follow him and to feel of the joy of being with Christ.

Throughout this week I invite you guys to all think how we can be like those early-stage apostles and see what you can leave to follow Christ even more. You can do it i believe in all of you. Hope you all have a great week, peace out BYE

What's up friends, this week was the bombbb. I felt like it was going to be a long one but it ended up flying by, which is always a pleasant surprise hahaha.

Fun story was that we were teaching a less active person and everything was going super good. We could tell that her and her family had many problems and that they needed lots of help, but I didn't realize how much help they actually needed until the less active's husband came out. Basically he struggles with drugs big time and that he's killed many innocent people. But he told, while smoking a mystery substance rolled up, that he's ready to change. Few days later he texted us asking for money so we will most likely stop visiting them lol.

We also did some exchanges, it was super cool cause i got to go to the mission offices and help out elder rodriguez and my old companion,
Elder alejandro!! It was super cool being able to spend the day with him and being able to work with and and relive lots of fun memories. We were companions way back in February so i had forgotten lots of things it was crazy.

In the mission offices I also got to see elder Alcala, my mtc companion. Dude is such a stud, it was so cool seeing him after a while. We had to go to migration together to renew our visa after a year of being here. Very fun stuff.

I feel like I dont have lots of interesting stuff to say, I'm kinda forcing this one a bit but I do have one more story I'd like to share. Yesterday we went and visited an older man named huan holguin. My companion found him on his exchanges and told me he had potential but that he wasn't sure. We got there tho and he told my companion "I heard you guys had church today, I can't believe you didn't invite me, I would've gone if you invited me." That was huge cause he lives on the limits of our area super far away from the chapel, and he also uses a walker to get around. Big time faith.

Juan also has been investigating churches his entire life, but every church he's been to has ended up disappointing and letting him down. I after listening to his stories and bashes on other churches for a while, i finally asked him what he was really looking for in a church. He very clearly and directly replied to me, saying "Just 3 things, friendship, unity, and teachings that leave me feeling good spiritually."

Friendship, unity, and feelings of the spirit. 3 things that are characteristic of the church of Christ, but things that Juan has never been able to find. I'm so excited to keep talking to juan, but I promise you guys that the church of jesus christ of later day saints fulfills those 3 requirements juan wanted in a church. If we keel the commandments and follow the teachings of the church of christ, we too will be able to find friendships, unity, and peace that comes from the spirit. Im so grateful for this mission and for how much my testimony has grown out here.

I love you guys, peace out!

waddup friends and family, this week was absolutely nuts and I thought it was gonna be super long, but it was the fastest thing ever holy heck.

I got to do a phone audit this past week which was very exciting. That's basically where we surprise show up to the elders house and check the phone to see if they're doing anything bad. Honestly don't like having to do that but it was cool to talk to them and find out that they had been using google chrome every night until 2AM. Thank you Elders, very cool.

We also had a ward baptism!! It was so cool and the spirit was very strong, Kimberly was so stoked to get baptized. My old comp Elder Caballero came back to baptize her, it was super cool. Only problem was that there was a miscommunication and we had to pause the baptism for 20 minutes while the grandma ran to her house to get clothes for kimberly.

Oh and other crazy thing that happened was that victor went to the baptism with a girl!! Victor was the dude that told me I was a red feathered dragon or whatever. Would have been the perfect day if he hadn't of come super high and with lots of crazy ideas about how he was a reincarnated Jesus-Enoch-Joseph smith being. After he went to go talk to the bishop about all this and began asking for money and tithings while simultaneously offering him his watch and his motorcycle. He ended up leaving very mad when the bishop said you're wrong. We have not talked to him since and it will probably stay that way lol.

This last P-day we ended up having a super cool zone counsel where a bunch of members came and just told us to talk to literally everyone. It was crazy hearing about the unreal mission stories in the past, and it got us all so hyped up. So this week we went out and just starting giving out little contact cards to every person we saw. It didn't have tons of success, but we got to meet lots of people and it was cool.

But that kinda brings me to my mini thought I wanted to share with you guys. There's lots of times where we don't want to talk to anyone we don't know cause that would be weird. Or maybe we get scared to talk about the gospel with our friends. But please do it, the gospel is meant to be spread and when we open our mouths and just say little things about Jesus, we will feel so much better and happier. Keep talking about jesus and keep praying and keep studying the scriptures and going to church. pretty please lol.

Love you guys so much and I'll talk to ya later, byee
