Yo yooo what's up!! This week was absolutely insane, solely because for the first time in a long time we did nothing.
Last Monday while we were playing soccer with the district and another ward, I stepped bad and hurt my foot. After a little bit I realized that I hurt it kinda bad, due to the crazy swelling. After going to the hospital, they told me it was a second grade sprain. That's the first miracle I saw, being that it was only a sprain and not a broken bone. The kindve frustrating news after was that we would have to stay in the house for the week so my foot could rest, and after seeing another missionary go home that same Monday from a sprain caused injury, I was very willing to comply haha.
So basically all we've done has been lots of calls, lots of área book cleaning, lots of naps, and lots of exchanges so that way my companion wouldn't have to finish his 3rd to last week chilling in the house haha.
But through the pain and the cabin fever we were able to see tons of miracles! One person we called ended up remembering her Facebook request to learn more about Jesus from two years ago! We had a video lesson with her and she's gold, just that she lives over there in Mexico City. Watch out for a Nahomi Martinez Elder Koger hahaha.
Other super cool miracle was when my comp said in the morning prayer yesterday to help us find people to teach for the missionaries next transfer. We didn't think anything was gonna come from it, until a brother called us wanting to visit his cousins with Elder Summers. Cool part was they found an entire family and another person that are already ready for baptism, answering Elder Summers prayer!! That's was awesome haha.
Then today, I remembered that there's a physical therapist in the ward, so we went with her and after 30 minutes with her she totally fixed my foot. It was nuts. Such a huge miracle being able to see that everything's gonna be fine haha.
Anyways it was a sweet, long, unforgettable week, and I will probably not be playing lots more soccer for the rest of my mission haha. I love this church and I know it's true. Read the book of Mormon if you doubt it. Trust in Christ and the tumult of the world will begin to seem not as big of problems. Love you all bye!!
