T minus 3 months🫠

 

Hey hey whats up, it's been a sec but I'm back!! Wowie thing

s have been busy. Being busy includes

-two emergency transfers back to back two different weeks

-adjusting to a new district after being in the previous one for 11 months

And honestly that's it thought I had more lol. Funny story is that we got to someone's house thinking it was an elders house and we opened it up with the keys we had. Upon entering the house, we quickly realized that it was not an elders house, seeing the Virgen of Guadalupe on the wall and also various different family pictures on the wall and also seeing a very messy table with lots of tools. We got out of there very quick and walked 30 minutes more to the actual elders house hahahaha

Things are going good here, crazy to think about how fast time is going!! Pray for the 4 baptism dates we have and keep praying for the missionaries and the people we're teaching, every prayer helps!!

Wowie week w/ Elder Douglas

 

Hey what's up, this week was nuts!! Right now we're on a bus to go to pday so we'll see how much of an email I can get out.

Saturday helped me tons with my book of mormón testimony. We went to one of our appointments but unfortunately bumped into the super apostolic Dad of the family that hates "the mormons". He was politely Bible bashing us up until I pulled put a book of mormón. After that it was game over, our friend lifted up his Bible and intended to rebuke us for worshiping a book made by man and not by God. We tried to explain a little more that it was all just a big misunderstanding, but he wouldn't have it. At 9:45pm we got out of there, but the good news is that the dad's reaction helped two of the other people there super interested in the book of mormón and we got to give away two copies

Other experience was with elder Douglas fr the area 70. Wow incredible experience honestly. Our mission presidents are about to finish up the mission, so he came by to tell us that we need to help out the mission lots. He talked a lot about how converted we really are to the gospel. When we get super converted, we'll get the spirit which is the most important thing. When we have the spirit, nothing else is necessary.

Sorry for the short email but I honestly can't remember the fun stories of the week, but what impacted me the most is how true the church is. The book of mormón is true and that's why so many people treat it so badly. If the book is true, the church is true. Read it and pray about it and apply it. We're here to keep progressing every day. Something president packer said was

"If we don't change we'll always stay the same." Super simple but it's very true.
